Corrections

Every change to a fact on a published page, newest first. An error is corrected as soon as it is confirmed, the page gets a "Correction" line that links here, and the change is recorded below. To report one, emailcontact@flightbrief.news with the page and the document that shows the error.

Most entries from 8 to 14 October 2026 come from one re-check: the reference tables, the oldest guides and the articles published from March to May were read again against their primary documents, and each error found was fixed and listed here.

  1. DJI Matrice 4T

Gave the aircraft's weight as 1,420 g, which is DJI's maximum takeoff weight. DJI's takeoff weight with propellers is 1,219 g; the page now says so, and the maximum stays in the specification table.

  2. Blue UAS Cleared List table

Dated Wingtra, Heven Aerotech and Vantage Robotics as added on 19 February 2026, the official portal's date. The portal gives that date to eight entries, six of them announced as cleared between 2022 and November 2025; Heven's row now carries its November 2025 announcement and the other two no added date.

  3. Blue UAS Framework table

From 21 October said the official Framework List no longer carried Elarion's 433 MHz and 868 MHz ELRS receivers, and listed Elarion's 433 MHz transmitter and Renegade UxS's Diversity 5.8 GHz VRX twice. Both receivers are still on the list and neither part is listed twice; the error came from reading the portal's pages, which repeat and skip rows.

  4. US Bans Unauthorized Drone Flights Along the Mexico Border

Said the restriction took effect on 16 October, as the government's release stated. The FAA's notice dates it from 19 October 2026 to 19 October 2027, under three NOTAMs; the article now gives both and how to apply to fly.

  5. Interceptor drones tamed the Shahed; jet Shaheds are harder

Presented a 68-70% interceptor share of drone kills as a standing figure; it was one month's figure (January), as reported by The Economist. Said Anduril was awarded $20 billion; that is the ceiling of a ten-year contract vehicle whose first order was $87 million.

  6. Ukraine signs 11 drone deals as arms exports slowly begin

Called $50 billion Ukraine's defence output; it is the ministry's estimate of production capacity. Said requests had come from 11 countries in total; Zelensky said 11 more. Gave BraveTech EU a €100 million budget; no source supports it, and the EU's second phase is €35 million.

  7. Frontline and Quantum's German drone plant wins a 2027 order

Called the venture Ukraine's first official military export; it held one of the first technology-transfer permits, and the first finished combat drones were exported in July. Gave the 2026 target as 10,000 Linza drones; Quantum's figure covers Zoom and Linza together.

  8. Arcanus's Beyond Vision licence is still only a term sheet

Said Arcanus signed a production licence; it signed a binding term sheet to negotiate one, and no definitive agreement has been announced. Said Canadian modifications would be jointly owned; Arcanus's release gives it outright ownership of them, with only process improvements shared.

  9. eVTOL guide

Gave EHang's 2026 revenue guidance as RMB600 million; EHang withdrew it on 25 August and has given none since. Also said the EH216 had carried passengers commercially for two years; EHang describes 17 months of trial operations, with paid passenger approvals slowed after a June accident.

  10. Drone delivery guide and Part 135 delivery operators table

Said none of Amazon's 'coming soon' Prime Air sites had opened; Amazon began deliveries near Cleveland on 24 September. The table also gave Zipline as past two million deliveries; it passed three million, as the guide said.

  11. Beijing bans owning, flying or storing drones from 15 November

Said Beijing's May drone rules let drones be sold or rented with prior police approval; they banned sales and rentals outright, with exemptions after a safety assessment. Also gave the adoption date as 28 March; it was 27 March.

  12. Anduril names space-based interceptor team for Golden Dome

Said the Space Force distributed $3.2 billion across 12 companies. It announced 20 agreements with 12 companies worth up to $3.2 billion combined; that is a ceiling, and no company's share is public. Two other articles repeated the error and were fixed the same day.

  13. LUCAS attack drones saw combat before mass production

Said LUCAS entered combat 'this week' in April; Central Command confirmed combat use on 28 February. Quoted Pete Hegseth on Iran 'losing drone dominance'; no source for the quote was found and it was removed. Said 12 makers showed drones at the Pentagon in July 2025; Business Insider counted 18 prototypes.

  14. The best personal drone guide

Gave the Potensic ATOM 2 as $299; that is the first ATOM's price, and the ATOM 2 lists at $329.99. Said the de minimis duty exemption was suspended for everything except international post; since 24 July 2026 the suspension covers postal parcels too.

  15. FAA drops criminal threat for drone flights near vehicles

Said the FAA replaced its notice four days after the Reporters Committee's court motion; it was five (10 to 15 April). Attributed Grayson Clary's 'egregious overreach' to the reversal; he said it of the original ban. A quoted FAA statement had no traceable source and was replaced by the agency's published one.

  16. Skydio says Air Forces Central ordered $9M of docked drones

Said the 1 March drone strike that killed six US soldiers hit Camp Arifjan; it hit a tactical operations centre at Port Shuaiba, a Kuwaiti port. Said the X10's thermal camera detects a person two miles away; no source gives that figure. Presented 'one of the largest' Air Force base-security drone orders ever as fact; it is Skydio's claim.

  17. Air Force crews fly Anduril's YFQ-44A Fury at Edwards

Said no Anduril staff were present at the April exercise; the Air Force's own photos show Anduril technicians working on the aircraft. Also called 1,000 aircraft a stated Air Force requirement; it was a possible long-term number, and the Air Force now speaks of over 150 by 2030 and at least 500 by 2032. The headline no longer says the aircraft passed a test.

  18. Europe is spending billions to build its own military drones

Said Iran makes about 400 Shahed drones a day for Russia; that is Ukraine's estimate of Russia's own output. Said the EU's drone alliance with Ukraine was set up in 2024; it was announced in September 2025. Unsourced figures, including that Europe makes under 30% of its own drone needs, were removed.

  19. BETA and Joby fly the first FAA eVTOL pilot program missions

Said the FAA had not published a full list of the eight projects. The Transportation Department named every lead and partner on 9 March 2026; the article now lists them.

  20. Drone battery suppliers and the NDAA ban

Said the Pentagon's ban on batteries with materials from foreign entities of concern applies to all purchases from 1 January 2028. That date covers new programmes; standard batteries follow on 1 January 2029 and existing programmes on 30 January 2031. Also corrected: Unusual Machines' orders were about $75 million, not up to, and GM Ventures sold part of its SES AI stake, not all of it.

  21. Enterprise drones guide

Described the Autel EVO Max 4T with a 50 MP wide camera, a 20 km link and a pre-tariff price of $6,499 to $8,999. The model now sold is the V2, with a 48 MP wide camera and 15 km transmission by Autel's figures; the dealer Autelpilot sells it at $5,699, and Autel's own US store at $8,999 since a summer offer ended in mid-October.

  22. Blue UAS Cleared List guide

From 8 October said the official DCMA list did not carry Freefly's Astro Max and held 75 entries, and on 15 October that Harris Aerial's Carrier H6 Hybrid EFI had left it. The list holds 81 entries: six sit in a "UAS" category the portal's home page does not show, among them the Astro Max and the Hybrid EFI. The table adds the Astro Max, the Alta X Gen2 and Envision's PROTEUS.

  23. Freefly Astro Max

Said, from 8 October, that the official DCMA list names only Freefly's Alta X and not the Astro Max. It carries the Astro Max from 14 February 2025, in a category the portal's home page does not show. The DJI Matrice 400 page, the enterprise drones guide and Freefly's profile are corrected too.

  24. US drone manufacturers table

Gave Kraus Hamdani Aerospace's government order as a $270 million AFCENT contract, which is the company's own figure and no official record confirms. The row now shows the only matching federal record, FA480326D0001, with a $45 million ceiling and $21.7 million ordered.

  25. Blue UAS Cleared List guide

Gave the Pentagon's Drone Dominance target as 340,000 attritable drones by 2027, a figure with no source; the Pentagon's stated goal is more than 300,000 small drones. The guide also said Inspired Flight's IF800 and IF1200 left the list without saying they are on it again, and dated Skyfront's correction a day early.

  26. Skyrover S1 vs DJI Mini 4 Pro: Specs, Prices and FCC Status

Said the S1 matched the Mini 4 Pro's sensor size and gave DJI's hover accuracy as +/-0.6 m. The S1's sensor is 1/2-inch against the Mini 4 Pro's 1/1.3-inch, and DJI states +/-0.1 m with vision sensors. The $249 and $815 prices matched no listing and were replaced.

  27. No One Is Replacing DJI in the US Consumer Market

Said the FCC banned all future foreign-made drones and that the Pentagon allocated $1.1 billion for attack drones by 2027. The ban has exemptions (Blue UAS, Buy American, approved products, toys), and the Pentagon plan was about $1 billion for more than 300,000 small drones. An Antigravity sales figure of 30,000 had no source and was removed.

  28. Kraus Hamdani's $270M Air Force Award Is Still Unconfirmed

Reported a $270 million Air Force award as fact; it is the company's figure, unconfirmed by the Air Force. The only matching federal record, FA480326D0001, has a $45 million ceiling, and the Contracts table now shows that record.

  29. Anduril's Barracuda-500M Deal Sets 3,000 Missiles, No Price

Called the agreement an Army contract for 3,000 missiles and more than 60 launchers with a 100-pound warhead. It is a Department of War production framework with minimums and no value; Anduril gives 60 launch systems in 2027 and a 100-pound payload.

  30. France Plans Up to 400% More Explosive Drones by 2030

Said France would quadruple its whole military drone inventory and gave $9.07 billion for drones and missiles and an $87.9 billion budget in 2030. The 400% covers explosive drones; drones get €8.4 billion and munitions €8.5 billion more, and the 2030 budget is €76.3 billion.

  31. European loitering-munition orders table

Germany's Helsing and Stark row gave €540 million as a framework value; it is the two first call-offs of about €270 million each (4,300 HX-2 and 2,200 Virtus) under frameworks of €4.3 billion combined. The Rheinmetall row's €2.4 billion and 2,500 units come from press reports of the budget papers, not from Rheinmetall, and now say so.

  32. Rheinmetall's €2.4B Drone Contract Can't Stop Stock Slide

Presented €2.4 billion and 2,500 units as Rheinmetall's figures; Rheinmetall says only that the framework is worth billions, and the figures come from Hartpunkt's report of the budget papers. Its Helsing and Stark record is now two first call-offs of about €270 million each.

  33. A trade association is the fast route onto the Blue UAS list

Said the FCC Covered List exemptions for Blue UAS and Buy American products expire on 1 January 2027; the FCC extended them to 1 January 2028 on 21 July 2026.

  34. DJI Lito X1: Sub-250g Drone Launches Without the US

Said the Lito X1 had cleared US certification and a US launch was imminent. DJI launched it on 23 April outside the US and says its US authorization is pending.

  35. Army Awards AeroVironment $134M for Red Dragon, P550

Called both awards Friday's and dated the P550 record 10 April; both were announced by the Pentagon on 20 March.

  36. The Pentagon Just Bet $54.6B on Autonomous Warfare

Misnamed the Defense Autonomous Warfare Group and cited unsourced internal documents about a combatant command; it now quotes the Defense Secretary's later statements instead.

  37. DAWG Budget, NDAA Batteries and Unusual Machines in Numbers

Said the Pentagon stood up the Autonomous Warfare Command in April; that was Southern Command's own regional command. The $53.6 billion is the reconciliation part of a $54.6 billion request.

  38. Pentagon Sends Personnel to Ukraine to Study Drone Warfare

Put an MQ-9 Reaper at about $16 million; the Congressional Research Service gives $30 million to $50 million depending on sensors. The Air Force K1000ULE article now cites the same range.

  39. Europe's Drone Production Gap: How the EU Plans to Close It

Said a Shahed costs a few hundred dollars, and the Army counter-UAS budget piece cited an unverified $4,000; common estimates are $20,000 to $50,000. The France figure of 400% applies to loitering munitions, not all drones and missiles.

  40. Japan Scraps Attack Helicopters, Buys Drones Instead

Gave Japan's FY2026 unmanned budget as ¥100 billion plus ¥128.7 billion for SHIELD; it is about ¥277.3 billion in all, of which about ¥100.1 billion for SHIELD. The ¥1 trillion is a five-year total.

  41. Anduril Raises $5B Series H, Valued at $61B

Gave Anduril's previous valuation as $28 billion after its 2024 Series F; it was $30.5 billion in the June 2025 Series G, and $14 billion in the 2024 Series F.

  42. Japan's AAM Roadmap Is Built to Actually Work

Treated the Osaka-Kansai Expo as a future milestone; it ran in 2025, where SkyDrive flew demonstration flights without passengers.

  43. Norinco CY-8: The World's Heaviest Cargo Drone Just Flew

Said the CY-8 can take off in under 280 metres; 280 metres was its first-flight take-off run, and the design requirement is under 500 metres.

  44. eVTOL guide

Gave Vertical Aerospace's Valo an entry-into-service target of 2028. Vertical now targets UK type certification in 2029, with the first certification-standard aircraft starting assembly in late 2027.

  45. Drone stocks guide

One section said the FCC Covered List exemption for Blue UAS and domestic products expires on 1 January 2027; the FCC extended it to 1 January 2028 on 21 July 2026. The guide also gave Skydio's last valuation as $2.2 billion in 2021; Skydio raised money at a $4.4 billion valuation in April 2026.

  46. General Cherry to Build Interceptor Drones in New Hampshire

One line said Ukrspecsystems had opened a UK production facility backed by roughly £200 million. The £200 million is a multi-year investment plan, and in July the company said production at its Suffolk site had not started because Ukraine had not granted export permits.

  47. Loitering munitions guide and European orders table

Dated Rheinmetall's FV-014 framework with the Bundeswehr 27 April 2026. Rheinmetall announced the signing on 22 April 2026.

  48. Contracts and Funding tables

The totals added the most framework contracts could be worth to firm orders, one contract and one funding round were counted twice, and several rows carried placeholder dates. Both pages were rebuilt as tables that keep ceilings, firm orders and stock-market listings apart, and the dates were checked against each award's announcement.

  49. Red Cat to Deliver 173 Black Widow Drones to Japan

One line described the order as 86 two-drone kits. Red Cat's announcement gives 173 systems, each with two drones and a ground control station.

  50. Destinus Eyes Amsterdam IPO, Seeks €200M at €5B

The headline said Destinus had raised €200 million. The article reported that it was seeking that sum in a round that had not closed, and the headline now says so.

  51. Manna Raises $50M to Expand Drone Delivery to 40 Bases

Named the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund as a co-lead of the round, which the announcement does not support. ARK Invest led with Schooner Capital; Tapestry, missing before, also took part.

  52. Lucid Bots Raises $20M Series B for Window-Washing Drones

Called the $75 million figure the revenue of operators using Lucid Bots machines. It is the value of cleaning jobs those operators have completed.

  53. SkyfireAI Raises $11M to Coordinate Autonomous Drone Fleets

Said SkyfireAI is based in San Diego. Its headquarters are in Huntsville, Alabama.

  54. AEVEX Aerospace company profile

Said AEVEX is privately held. It has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange as AVEX since April 2026, and the profile now also says it builds one-way attack and reconnaissance drones.

  55. Matternet company profile

Said Matternet shares had no public trading market. They began trading on the OTCQB as MTTN on 21 September 2026.

  56. Red Cat, Fortem Technologies and Corvus Robotics company profiles

Gave out-of-date headquarters: Red Cat is based in South Salt Lake, Utah, not Puerto Rico; Fortem in Lindon, Utah, not Pleasant Grove; Corvus Robotics in Mountain View, California, not San Jose.

  57. Blue UAS Framework components table and Blue UAS guide

Said DoD publishes no readable list of Framework components and that the DCMA portal lists only aircraft. The portal also carries a Framework List, which held 245 components from 82 manufacturers on 9 October 2026. The table, which held about 40 components from manufacturer announcements, has been rebuilt from it.

  58. No one is replacing DJI in the US consumer market

Dated the FCC ruling that shut foreign-made drones out of US certification to December 2026. It was December 2025.

  59. Best enterprise drones guide

Said the Parrot ANAFI USA GOV is French-made and imported under the 15% allied tariff cap. Parrot markets it as made in the USA and does not say where current units are assembled; the guide now says so. It also now says Wingtra replaced the WingtraOne Gen II as its flagship with the WingtraRAY in 2025.

  60. Blue UAS Cleared List guide

The picture captioned as a Parrot ANAFI USA showed a Skydio X10. It is replaced with Parrot’s own image of the ANAFI USA GOV.

  61. Loitering munitions table

The HX-2 row gave 250 km/h and a 4.5 kg payload from 2024 press reports. Helsing’s product page gives 220 km/h and 12 kg and publishes no payload mass; the row now follows Helsing.

  62. Blue UAS Cleared List guide and table

Said the official DCMA list could not be read and our table, assembled from company announcements, was the only public roster. The DCMA portal shows the list; on 8 October 2026 it held 75 aircraft. Rebuilt from it: five rows we had marked contested are confirmed, twelve manufacturers added, the Freefly row is the Alta X rather than the Astro, Skydio’s Dock for X10 is not listed, and the Z1 is listed under Heven Aerotech, Zepher’s parent.

  63. A trade association is the fast route onto the Blue UAS list

Said the official list could not be read and that Skydio’s Dock for X10 joined it. The DCMA list can be read and does not carry the Dock. Ondas’ Optimus announcement was in January, not February.

  64. Freefly Astro Max

Said the Astro Max is on the Pentagon’s Blue UAS list. The official DCMA list, read on 8 October 2026, names only Freefly’s Alta X. The DJI Matrice 400 page, the enterprise drones guide and Freefly’s company profile made the same claim or its reverse and are corrected too.

  65. Inspired Flight IF800 Tomcat

Said the IF800’s return to the Blue UAS list had not been confirmed. The official DCMA list shows the IF800 and IF1200 on it.

  66. Black Widow

Said no government record of the Black Widow’s Blue UAS listing had been found. The official DCMA list shows it, with a date added of 7 April 2026.

  67. FAA 44807 approved aircraft table

Was marked verified on 7 October while the FAA had published two newer revisions of the list, on 8 July and 2 October 2026. Rebuilt from the 2 October list: ten aircraft added and two approved weights changed; the guide now gives 202 aircraft, not 192.

  68. Anduril’s YFQ-44A Fury Passes Air Force Flight Test

Said Boeing was developing the YFQ-42A, the other Collaborative Combat Aircraft prototype. General Atomics builds it.

  69. Black Widow

Called the Black Widow Blue UAS certified. It was selected for assessment in February 2025 and was still being assessed in December 2025; Red Cat’s storefront says it is listed, and no government record of the listing has been found. The radio was also described as encrypted, which Teal does not say; it is a hex-band radio with frequency stepping.

  70. Skydio X10

Said Skydio publishes no top speed or operating temperature; it gives 20 m/s and −20 °C to 45 °C. Said the X10 takes two sensor packages; Skydio lists three. Gave $28,382 on the GSA schedule as the X10’s price; DHS recorded that for the X10D.

  71. DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise

Gave the 915 g weight as without propellers; DJI gives it with propellers, without accessories. The page also gave a price of $3,629 with no source and did not say DJI had discontinued the aircraft; DJI’s last US price was $3,570.

  72. Blue UAS guide and table

Said Inspired Flight’s IF800 and IF1200A had left the list. Both are Green UAS certified, and DIU has added Green UAS platforms to the Blue list since July 2025, so the table now lists them, marked contested. The guide also gave the Teal 2 as about 1 kg with a 50 mph top speed, 3 km range and 4K60 video; Teal gives 1.25 kg, 23 mph, 5 km and a 16 MP daylight camera.

  73. Drone Delivery Hubs Now Face City Hall, Not the FAA

Gave 26 September as the last day to challenge the FAA’s drone delivery finding in court. That was a Saturday, so under the federal appeals rules the deadline moved to Monday 28 September, the day fifteen states filed.

  74. Blue UAS Cleared List guide and roster

Said AgEagle’s eBee TAC came off the list in the 2025 refresh and left EagleNXT (AgEagle) out of the roster. The company said in July 2025 that the eBee TAC and eBee VISION were cleared again; the guide says so and the roster now has an EagleNXT row.

  75. Vertical Aerospace

Described the VX4 as Vertical’s aircraft with a 2028 certification target. Vertical’s production design is the Valo, and it targets UK type certification in 2029; the profile now carries its September 2026 funding position and strategic review.

  76. DJI Mini 4 Pro

Said the 250 g line triggers registration in the US, EU, UK and most other markets. It does so for recreational flying in the US and Canada; the EU registers the operator of any camera drone whatever it weighs, and the UK and Japan register from 100 g.

  77. DJI Mini 5 Pro

Said the 250 g threshold avoids registration in most markets. It does for recreational flying in Canada and the US, not in the EU, the UK or Japan.

  78. The Best Personal Drone: What You Can Actually Buy in 2026

Called the 125 g HoverAir X1 and the 151 g DJI Neo 2 unregistered aircraft in the EU, and a 249 g drone exempt there. The EU registers the operator of any camera drone whatever it weighs, which the guide’s EU section already said.

  79. How $50,000 Drones Are Breaking Modern Air Defenses

A full fact-check found ten errors. Thirteen US service members had been killed by 8 April, not “at least one”. Iran fired more than 3,300 drones and 1,400 ballistic missiles by 20 March, not about 1,000 drones. The Fairmont The Palm was not hit; debris landed nearby. 65 drones got through to the UAE out of 941. The $1.75 billion Shahed deal dates from 2023, not 2022, and the range is 1,000 to 2,500 km. A THAAD interceptor costs about $12.7 million. The hit data came from Ukraine’s Defence Ministry. Ukraine had TB2s in 2022. The radar-and-airbase argument was ours, not CSIS’s.

  80. Blue UAS and NDAA guides and the Blue UAS roster

Gave the Parrot ANAFI USA as $7,000 to $10,000; DHS recorded $13,964 on the GSA schedule in 2025. The Freefly Astro Max was given as about $26,000; the compliant version is $28,995 on Freefly’s store. The Teal 2 range, the V-BAT price and a “50 to 100 percent” premium over DJI had no source; each now gives a sourced figure and whose it is.

  81. DHS counter-UAS contract table

Listed Anduril on the managed-services track only. DHS added Anduril to the hardware track on 15 September 2026 after a protest, so it now holds both, with Leidos and BAE Systems. The row and the notes on the other two were updated.

  82. How $50,000 Drones Are Breaking Modern Air Defenses

Credited the $35,000 Shahed unit-cost estimate to an "Institute for the Study of International Security". The figure is CSIS’s, chosen in February 2025 as the midpoint between the lowest estimate and the commonly cited $50,000.

  83. Blue UAS guide and roster

Listed Inspired Flight’s IF800 and IF1200A and Freefly’s Alta X as cleared. All three came off in the early-2025 refresh, as both companies have said; Freefly’s exception for existing Alta X operators ended on 28 February 2026. The Skydio X2D is no longer carried, and four rows whose evidence is old or second-hand are now marked contested.

  84. Blue UAS guide and roster

Said Ondas’s Optimus was added in February 2026. Ondas announced it on 28 January 2026.

  85. Blue UAS guide and roster

Described Skyfront’s Perimeter 8 as a tethered multi-rotor for surveillance. It is a hybrid gasoline-electric long-endurance octocopter and is not tethered, as Skyfront told us. The row now carries the company’s own figures.

  86. Drone delivery guide and Part 135 delivery operators table

Said the seventh Part 135 drone delivery certificate had never been publicly identified. It had: the FAA names Drone Express (DEXA) of Dayton, Ohio, certificated in April 2025, and DroneLife reported it on 17 April 2025. The table now carries the row and the guide names all eight.

  87. Drone stocks guide

Said the FCC exemption for Blue UAS platforms ends on 1 January 2027. The FCC extended it to 1 January 2028 on 21 July 2026. The guide now gives the 2028 date.

  88. Part 135 delivery operators table

The Amazon Prime Air row listed two US markets and one announced. Amazon reported eleven sites in ten metros on 20 August 2026. The row now carries that figure.

  89. Drone delivery guide

Said Amazon Prime Air flew from two US sites; it was eleven, per Amazon on 20 August 2026. Also gave the wrong end date for the White House review of Part 108; the 90-day window from 10 July 2026 ends on 8 October.
